DUT THE DUCK

The Million Dollar Band’s Front Ensemble has a Rubber Duck as its Mascot: Dut. Named after how marching percussionists keep time, Dut had a small social media presence, and not many people knew what he was or what he represented. I had an idea when I became the section leader of the Front Ensemble. I thought, “Why don’t I use my design skills and create a brand for this duck?”, so that’s exactly what I did.
